Jason Snowberger

Jason  had spent  14 years studying wildlife as a taxidermist.  He had achieved national and world recognition for his taxidermy work with multiple industry magazine covers and earning a world champion title in 2005.

Sculpting is something that Jason had done on a regular basis as a taxidermist.  "I've had an interest and also an appreciation for bronze sculpture for many years."  As a taxidermist Jason had concentrated almost exclusively on mammals during his 14 year career.  He is now applying his knowledge of anatomy along with his style of composition  and design to the bronze industry.  "What I love about bronze sculpture is I have the freedom to create a piece exactly how I want to and then have the opportunity to offer that exact creation to a number of collectors.  Capturing the essence of the individual species that I am sculpting is the most important thing to me."

"More recently I have had the opportunity to sculpt a few people and children for several commission pieces.  Those pieces led to the desire to work on memorial pieces honoring our troops.  Jason is currently dedicating his time to the National Fallen Heroes Memorial.  "It's truly and honor to be working on such a noble project".  "This project may just be my life's work."
